Thank you to all the Dance Event Directors for their cooperation, permission, and help in bringing this information together for our Las Vegas Dance Calendar. This calendar does not show all events or all event details, but it gives you the key dances, their times, and locations as we hear about them. When available, we have provided a link to each dance venue so if you need, you can get more details. We provide this website FREE of charge to our dance community. If you like what you see, we take donations for its upkeep and hosting costs. You can find a donation page by clicking here.

More About Our Dance Calendar
Vegas CalendarShare Your Favorite Dance Spots
We list feature dance locations on the “Feature Pages” and smaller venues on our “WCS Dance Underground” page. We also list it on the calendar if it is a pure west coast swing dance with a set time and date. If you know of other dances or dance spots we have not listed in our Las Vegas Dance Calendar, don’t hesitate to contact us via our contact page to pass along details of these other events (see Guideline below).
WCS Teachers and Instructors
We currently only provide places to dance west coast swing on our calendar. Until a sufficient number of places teach west coast swing to warrant a calendar, we will continue to pass along this information in our response letter. To be added to our list of local places to learn west coast swing in Las Vegas, send your information to westcoastswingvegas@gmail.com with “Teaching WCS” in the Subject line.
WCS Calendar Of Vegas Area
We have put together this Las Vegas Dance Calendar to help our West Coast Swing Community find places to dance and help our Dance Hosts fill their Dance locations with as many happy west coast swing dancers as possible here in Las Vegas. It is a win, win scenario dancers have a place to dance, and the host has their dances filled with happy dancers. Working together, we can provide great dance experiences throughout the month without diminishing or splitting our dance community. This way, we have more places to dance with greater flexibility in places, times, and days.
Submission Guidelines
Guideline For “WCS Dance Calendar” Submission: You can submit a venue for consideration to be added to our WCS Dance Calendar if the Dance or Event is a pure West Coast Swing Venue in its Advertising, Music, and Teachings and Occurs Weekly or Monthly with a set Location, Time, and Dates. The submitted Dance or Event must dedicate at least 65% – 70% of the event’s time to providing danceable WCS music to be considered a WCS Dance. Your venue must also have a track record of 6 months of continuous operation. All submissions must use the Contact Page with “Submission Request” in the subject field.
Guideline For “Dance Underground” Submission: You can submit a venue for concentration if you have a favorite dance spot that includes at least 40% of the music that is comfortable to dance West Coast Swing to and occurs weekly or monthly. All “Dance Underground” events must be venues whose primary purpose is to provide patrons with food, drink, and music with a dance floor. Dance studios, teaching venues, dance workshops, etc., do not qualify. All submissions must use the Contact Page with “Submission Request” in the subject field.
Please Note: “Dance Underground” venues are not listed on the WCV Calendar unless they meet the guidelines of the “WCS Dance Calendar.”
